As a research intern at CQTech, I benchmarked six optimizers for Variational Quantum Eigensolvers across statevector and noisy simulations (FakeCairo / FakeBelem) — engineering a parallelized, shot-based Qiskit framework with a custom AQNGD optimizer and releasing a reproducible suite of NISQ-era optimization guidelines.

A Backtrader execution engine with Optuna parameter search, scikit-learn walk-forward ML signals, weighted multi-job portfolios and report export — all driven from a PyQt desktop workspace (Setup · Review · Live Monitor), with real and synthetic tick modes and live/dry-run execution.

Covering-Design Solver

A high-performance solver for the C(60,15,6) covering-design problem. GPU-accelerated simulated annealing (CuPy · CUDA · NVRTC) with a custom barrier temperature schedule and closed-form colex ranking — alongside quantum (VQE) and geometric (manifold · torus) solver variants, iterated across dozens of builds to cut round time from ~43 to ~7 minutes.
